Apple updates FireWire support Apple has posted its FireWire 2.3.3 update, this includes three system extensions and overcomes a number of problems in its previous FireWire support. The extensions include FireWire Support, FireWire Enabler and FireWire CardBus Enabler. The update means that Target Disk Mode will now work on PowerBooks with built-in FireWire. Additionally, certain DV camcorders will enjoy steadier connections when importing video using Video editing apps. Epson unveils autumn range Epson has launched its autumn scanner and printer line-up, comprising the Stylus C80 inkjet printer, and the Perfection 1650 and 1250 scanners. The Epson Stylus C80 has a print resolution of 2,880dpi and print speeds reaching 20ppm in black and 13ppm in colour.
