Pre-release CarbonLib SDK updated Apple has released CarbonLib 1.5d5 SDK (Software Development Kit), the latest pre-release version of the kit for Apple’s developer community. This release provides all the necessary files needed to begin Carbon development. The kit supports Mac OS 8.6 or later. Carbon APIs can be used to write Mac OS X applications that will also run on previous versions of Mac OS. Flash Player 11.2 fixes critical vulnerabilities Adobe released Flash Player 11.2 on Tuesday, addressing two critical arbitrary code execution vulnerabilities and introducing a silent update option. One of the patched vulnerabilities stems from how older versions of Flash Player checks URL security domains, and only affects the Flash Player ActiveX plug-in for Internet Explorer on Windows 7 or Vista.
