Apple sends users scrambling for OS X Yosemite Apple today released the public beta of OS X Yosemite, giving non-developers their first chance to preview an upcoming Mac operating system since 2000. Director MX ships Macromedia is now shipping Director MX, its upgraded multimedia-authoring tool. Director MX is currently available only online. It costs £1056, with upgrades from Director 8.5 costing £351 (prices include VAT). Box copies will be available from UK resellers “towards the end of the week”, according to Macromedia.
